What’s your favorite type of photography?

I like taking pictures of nature and/or monuments when I am traveling, but sometimes if I am just walking around the city and something catches my eye, such as the sun behind a building or an interesting detail on the side of a building, I will take a picture of it.

How do you think photography is important, if at all?

I agree with the famous saying “a picture is worth a thousand words” and I believe that pictures have the ability to evoke an emotional response from the viewer which can be more powerful than reading.

Did your summer with VISIONS change the path you were on?

My time with VISIONS was amazing and it inspired me to travel the world more, especially with more cultural immersion and without the comfort of hotels and other typical travel luxuries… and also to volunteer more abroad, not just within my neighborhood.
