1. What inspired you to join VISIONS?

I wanted to join VISIONS because of its unique approach and the opportunity to work with like-minded people to help create meaningful experiences for the younger generation.

2. What experiences have shaped your passion for community service and youth development?

I think I’ve always had a passion for helping the people around me, whether that’s the community as a whole or individuals within it. It’s so fulfilling to watch others light up when they see how wonderful the world can be and how much others care about them.

3. What is your favorite achievement?

One of the greatest things I’ve ever done was walk the Camino del Norte in Spain. It forced me to overcome a great deal of mental and physical strain. I also learned the value of packing light, which has transformed the way I travel now.

4. What is your favorite place you’ve traveled?

Out of all my travels, Maui stands out the most. There are so many amazing things about that island—the natural beauty, the kindness of the people, and the strong sense of community all made it a truly magical experience for me.

5. What is the best advice you’ve received?

I think some of the best advice I’ve ever received was to stay true to yourself and learn to trust your instincts. Through that advice, I’ve found that the more I understand who I am as a person, the easier it is to navigate through life.

6. What do you hope to accomplish this summer?

By the end of the summer I want to feel like I gave it my all to this experience. I’m confident that if I bring my best self to each and every day, then I’ll have contributed the kind of positive energy that makes everything and everyone around me shine.

7. What are you most excited about this summer?

I’m excited to spend the summer in such a beautiful place while having the chance to meet amazing new people. Those two things together create the possibility for unforgettable experiences and lasting memories.

8. If you had to give one piece of advice or words of encouragement to someone on their first VISIONS experience, what would it be?

I would say to come with an open mind. New experiences can feel intimidating and push you outside your comfort zone, but if you can push past that, you’ll discover a world full of possibilities—from personal and spiritual growth to lifelong friendships.
