Trip Insurance
Overview
If VISIONS cancels a program, you will be covered under our tuition refund policy. However, if you need to cancel, all or part of your tuition may be nonrefundable, per the tuition refund policies. VISIONS works with TravMark to provide insurance options, and you can contact their representative at info@travmark.com or 1-877-500-1556 if you have questions.
Once you purchase your insurance, enter the policy number into the Participant Portal.
Evacuation Insurance
VISIONS requires each participant to have evacuation insurance, at minimum. In the unlikely case a group evacuation was needed, we want participants on the same plans and therefore require purchasing through the options on this page. If you buy one of the insurance plans below, evacuation coverage is automatically included. Alternatively, to buy only Evacuation Insurance—which costs about $45— enter a trip cost of $0 when purchasing your insurance.

TravMark offers two trip insurance plans, and the detailed plan documents can be found here. These plans are not available to non-US residents or residents of Montana and Missouri, who can review their options in the sections below.

Additional Notes from VISIONS
If you have questions about policies, call TravMark at 1-877-500-1556. The verbiage of the actual policies are always what is instituted (here), but below are some clarifications to common questions.
- All participants must purchase evacuation insurance, which does not cover tuition or medical expenses. U.S. residents can select the Standard Activity Plan and enter a trip cost of $0 when filling out the quote form above.
- Activity Insurance Plus, which includes Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage, must be purchased within 21 days of the date of your first tuition payment.
- If you purchase Activity Insurance (not Plus), you can choose to insure the full or a partial amount of your overall trip cost.
