VISIONS Service Adventures combines the enriching experience of immersion, impactful service, adventurous exploration, and community building. Our programs are a great fit for students looking for substance, who want to grow and make a difference while also achieving educational and life goals.
- Meaningful Service: Service has always been at the core of VISIONS programs, including construction projects, environmental initiatives, social service with children, and animal welfare.
- Community Engagement: Students live and work in the heart of the host community and develop a sense of global citizenship that emphasizes empathy and broader perspectives.
- Life Skills: Programs teach technical, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, and participants gain confidence and return with increased practical skill sets.
- Spanish Language Immersion: Our programs in Peru and the Dominican Republic are opportunities for real-life language exchange on a daily basis.
- Dedicated Mentors: We maintain a 1:4 or 5 leader to student ratio (higher than most summer programs), and we carefully craft programs with mindful, dedicated leaders at the helm.
- Diverse Program Locations: Montana Blackfeet Indian Reservation, Peru, Dominican Republic & British Virgin Islands— all places where VISIONS has worked for 25 to 30+ years.
- Tech-Free Environment: Disconnecting from digital devices to foster deeper connections and engagement with the local community and surroundings.
