Stacey Neve was a seasoned traveler and overseas educator in search of a community that shared her passions for meaningful service and cultural immersion. Living abroad had positively impacted her life, but her desire to help others find this type of life-changing experience needed a path forward. Stacey found what she was looking for when she joined VISIONS as a leader in the Dominican Republic this past summer. Last month a B’nai Jeshurun group consisting of 21 teenagers and four adults traveled to the Dominican Republic to complete a school-construction project in the community of Naranjo. This is the third time students from B’nai Jeshurun have visited the DR to help with such community service projects.

In 1996, Alberto joined VISIONS officially as a member of the leader team, and he’s been the D.R. director for more than 15 years. He also moved from child of Lions Club members to being a member himself, serving as club president and treasurer for several years.
