Alum in Your 20s through 30s
August 28 – September 2

Alum of All Ages, with Friends & Family Welcomed
November 22 – 27, with an optional add-on through the 29th for a group Thanksgiving meal, outings and additional service time ($300 extra). 

Overview of Programs

• We typically end the workday by 2 pm and then jump into fun cultural and recreation activities. 
• Dates include arrival and departure—preferred arrival by 1 pm and departure after 10 am.
• We can put people in touch who want to extend the dates to share ideas and plans for additional travel. 
• $1400 trip cost, which includes airport transportation, lodging, meals at homebase, service projects, activities, and local staff. Not included: optional restaurant outings, airfare, travel insurance. Some financial aid available. Families need to pay for the first four family members; fifth immediate family member free upon request.

VISIONS alumni have worked in 25 program locations around the world and we continue to work in three of our most long-standing sites: Peru (since 1999) and D.R. and Montana Blackfeet Reservation (since 1991). Our mission remains steadfast and service is our way of thanking communities for sharing their lives with us.

It’s easy for alumni to leave a review on google and TeenLife, and we appreciate any connections you can share in terms of press releases, parent and student networks, or simply giving our information to friends. This helps us stay focused on the actual experiences and delivering powerful programs.

We regularly post Spotlights of alumni, leaders and local partners. If there is an update or something you’d like to share about your life, please submit here or reach out to us!

Spotlights can also recount connections that you made while on the program, a life path that got altered, or other VISIONS stories, such as this one in Alaska, about an Elder-Youth Center we constructed in the early 2000s that ended up serving as a refuge when almost all other local infrastructure collapsed during a record-breaking earthquake.
