Ecuador community service projects completed in partnership with local community members and El Municipio de Patate.

  • Completed bathroom construction in the Tahuaicha Community Center:
    • Mixed and poured 220 pounds of concrete to set the floor.
    • Dug a trench to install plumbing.
    • Plastered, sanded and painted exterior and interior walls.
    • Installed toilets

  • Installed a new floor in the Puñapi’s coliseum:
    • Picked and removed worn floor.
    • Mixed, poured and distributed 44,000 pounds of concrete.
  • Regularly assisted staff at a center for adults with disabilities. Served more than 30 community members by running activities in art, English, dance and soccer.

  • With a local farmer in San Cristobal, Galápagos, assisted with harvesting, cutting and installing new posts for perimeter fence. Removed tattered fencing and cleared weeds.

  • Spent a day helping to remove weeds from a community member’s garden in Puñapi.

  • With a group of elders, organized a two-hour cultural exchange of art and dance.
