Community Service Projects British Virgin Islands I
  • BVI community service projects completed with the BVI Tourist Board:
    • Constructed four walkways (4’x20′, 4’x10′ & two 4’x8′) and a staircase for the local trail system.
    • Cleared the trail to Pond Bay Beach using saws, clippers and machetes.
    • Constructed five benches using reclaimed pallet wood and painted with the help of local students.
  • At St. Mary’s Church grounds:
    • Constructed a one-hoop basketball court and a set of monkey bars.
    • Trimmed trees and cleared weeds and debris from the church property.
    • Painted tires to create an aloe garden comprised of four aloe planters.
    • Painted the perimeter wall and expanded the wall using stone.
    • Constructed three large 3’x8′ mosquito screens using reclaimed pallet wood for the windows of St. Mary’s School.
  • With longtime VISIONS friend, Khoy Smith:
    • Built a greenhouse using PVC piping.
    • Demolished and cleared a destroyed poultry factory.
  • BVI community service projects completed with environmental organization Green Clean:
    • Demolished and cleared a collapsed historical house and surrounding lot.
  • In partnership with Cornerstone Elementary School
    • Built four Corn Hole game boards and one sitting bench.
  • With local contact Mark Noel:
    • Cleared hurricane debris.
    • Removed a fallen-down fence and scoreboard at North End basketball court.
