All of the participants on the Peru program send an enthusiastic “Hola!” to their families and friends. This group photo was taken from one of the canales worksites, in a rural farm community in the Sacred Valley. Beyond all of their smiling faces, you can catch a glimpse of their amazing view of the foothills of the 20,000 ft Andean Peaks. They have been hard at work on that worksite and also have enjoyed meeting some of the villagers of Huaynaccolca, another town where they are constructing a primary school.
Although they seem to be enjoying the work, they are looking forward to spending the weekend exploring Machu Picchu. (This part of the program ends up being on the list of “favorites” from past participants more often than not, so we are sure they won’t be disappointed!)
