Kodee, originally from Bozeman, Montana, developed an affinity for nature and the adventures that come with it while growing up in the Big Sky state. Kodee attended college in Jamestown, North Dakota, where she studied History-Political Science, Spanish, and Business while also playing on the school’s soccer team. She first left the country to study Spanish through a winter program in Costa Rica and developed a passion for travel.
After graduating, Kodee toured the U.S. raising funds for a micro-financing foundation before heading to Latin America to teach English and immerse herself in Spanish-speaking cultures. She fell in love with teaching during her time abroad, and upon return to the U.S., started a career as an experiential educator on the East Coast.
In addition to joining the VISIONS home office as an Outreach Coordinator, Kodee is one of VISIONS most seasoned program leaders. Her first summer with VISIONS was in 2013 in the Dominican Republic, and she has also led and directed summer and custom programs in Peru and Ecuador. She now looks forward to spending time in another part of her home state of Montana, on the Blackfeet reservation, where she’ll also be joined by her full team of qualified leaders.
