Janette F. May

Marketing & Operations Director

Matthew Dayton from Visions Service Adventures

Janette was born and raised on a wheat farm in Southern Alberta, Canada, until her family moved to Kalispell, Montana, during her high school years. After her early years on the open plains, her true love of the outdoors was born in the idyllic mountain valleys surrounding Glacier National Park. She remained in the mountains for her undergraduate work in business and marketing at the University of Montana and Montana State in Missoula and Bozeman, respectively.

Janette is passionate about giving back to her community and about providing quality customer experiences that are based on trust and nurtured relationships. In addition to leadership roles in manufacturing, healthcare and at a mountain resort, she has served on the boards for the Cancer Support Community of Montana, the Big Sky Convention and Visitors’ Bureau, and others.

Janette and VISIONS owner, Katherine, met while walking their beloved dogs. What seemed like a chance meeting bloomed into a sharing of ideals, values and work ethics. Janette is excited to be part of a woman-owned business with a vision that resonates with her own.

Janette also enjoys spending time exploring with her dog, Gerty, travels down scenic byways and discovering other dog-friendly treasures. In addition, she is focused on her “must do” hike list of 14 thousand foot peaks, improving her mountain biking skills, and finding time for artistic endeavours.
