Matthew Dayton from Visions Service Adventures

Matt spent his childhood in northern Michigan playing in alleys, climbing trees, and searching the Michigan coast for various creatures—activities he still pursues.

He earned a B.A. in Film and Video before founding a production company in his hometown of Traverse City, where he has worked on numerous narrative, documentary, and creative film projects. He loves to discover hidden places, read, and learn about the world.

Matthew enjoys traveling whenever the chance arises, from weekend camping trips to cross-country road trips to foreign adventures. He’s spent time in Southeast Asia, Africa, and Iceland. He has also worked with VISIONS in the Dominican Republic to help document some of the projects and work completed during our 25 seasons there. His previous VISIONS programs include a summer in the British Virgin Islands and two years on the Montana Blackfeet Reservation. Matthew will be joined by the VISIONS leader team along with our long-time partners and friends in Battambang.
